The part of NADIA is played by Sana Mouziane.

Nadia (25) is a Pakistani asylum seeker. She fled from her village because she was going to be married off. Although Nadia is extremely intelligent at home she was never given the chance to go to university. The hard road from Pakistan to Belgium has left some deep scars, but the fact that she made it is the most important thing for her. Her independence and freedom are invaluable to her and she won’t allow anyone to take them away from her. At present she is living in a run-down apartment in Antwerp’s Seefhoek. She is doing a voluntary citizenship course so she can get to know the country and the language better. In addition to this she moonlights working in catering. She is a stranger to cynicism and suspicion. Because she is very open to the world and life she is often rebuffed in society. Despite everything she is not naive, just happy with everything she has got out of life so far.
